Fashion writer Lucy Addicott has discovered what she considers the ultimate airport outfit in Oodie's new loungewear collection. Testing the hoodie and jogger set across various activities, she found it strikes the perfect balance between comfort and style.
A New Direction for Oodie
Known primarily for its wearable blanket hoodies and pyjamas, Oodie has launched a fashion-forward loungewear range. The collection includes relaxed hoodies paired with either wide leg or cuffed joggers, available in four neutral colours: chocolate, light grey marle, slate, and black. Addicott chose the chocolate brown cuffed set in size S/M, which fit her 5'5" frame perfectly after consulting the size guide.

Each item retails for £59, but a buy-two-save-20% deal brings the matching set to £94.40 instead of £118. Made from 60% cotton and machine-washable, the pieces are practical. For those preferring a zipped front, the Comfor Zip Hoodie is available for £45, down from £130, in nine colours.
Testing the Loungewear
Addicott wore the set for desk work, park walks, shopping trips, travel, and lounging. She praised the premium feel, noting the buttery soft outer and brushed fleece inner. While some fuzzy fibres transferred onto socks initially, this diminished after washing.
Design and Comfort
The elasticated waistband on the joggers allowed adjustment, and the oversized drop-shoulder hoodie was flattering without being clingy. Cuffed joggers provided the right amount of fabric, while wide leg options suit those preferring no bunching. Roomy pockets on both the joggers and hoodie kangaroo pouch kept keys and phone secure during short outings.
Versatile for Travel
Addicott wore the set on a train journey and found it comfortable and put-together, ideal for shopping or travel without looking dishevelled. She plans to use it for upcoming airport trips, noting the pieces can be mixed and matched with existing wardrobe items. Despite being cosy, the set remained breathable even on warmer days.
