Autumn Artisan Market returns to Liverpool with 60 traders

The Autumn Artisan market is set to return to Liverpool this weekend, featuring up to 60 local traders. The event is one of several markets St George's Hall plateau has welcomed this year, following its outdoor night market in August.

What to expect at the market

Held four times a year inside the grand main hall, the artisan markets host a range of independent businesses and are easily accessible by train, bus or car. The October Autumn market will bring together food, jewellery, arts and crafts, photography and more.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy live choir performances in the Great Hall at intervals, starting from midday, along with hot food and refreshments.

Event details and other city attractions

The event will take place on Sunday, October 4, from 10am to 4.30pm, with free entry for visitors.

Another event coming to the city is Liverpool ONE's Christmas showcase, rolling out from November 6. The event will see the return of the Christmas Toy Parade on November 14, in collaboration with Walk The Plank. Festive characters, including dancing toys and Santa, will parade across the complex against a musical soundtrack at intervals throughout the day.

From Friday, November 6, Liverpool ONE will unveil new decorations set to bring a little extra sparkle to their existing Christmas lights scheme. The decorations include a new 30-metre Christmas tree at Paradise Place, a twinkling light canopy at Peter's Lane and Keys Court, a dazzling light curtain at the Church Street and Keys Court entrance, and a light drape and super-sized suspended bauble at Peter's Square.
