Argos is offering the Habitat 6ft Pre lit Half Christmas Tree at £30, a £10 saving on its £40 price, with shoppers calling it "ideal when space is limited, but still very festive."
The half-tree design sits flush against the wall, taking up half the room of a full tree and leaving "more floor space for presents and party prep." It comes pre-lit with 120 warm white bulbs and is made from PVC with a "sturdy metal stand," designed to last for years.
Design and Features
Despite being a half tree, it stands 6ft tall and is assembled by slotting the pieces together, fluffing the branches, and adding decorations. The pre-lit feature removes the yearly struggle with tangled lights.
Elsewhere, Yimbly, an online marketplace owned by Reach Plc, has the Breeins Flocked Christmas Tree for £94.29, reduced from £109. This full artificial tree measures 180cm and features a snow effect on the branches.
Shopper Reviews
Argos shoppers have praised the tree for its space-saving abilities. One said it "works well in limited space," adding: "This actually looks pretty good when zshuzzed up and decorated and it is perfect when you have limited space as we do. Also an advantage to have the lights pre-installed."
Another called it "small, but perfectly formed," writing: "I bought this for my daughter. She has a small terraced house, and it fitted in perfectly. Ideal when space is limited, but still very festive!" A further five-star review read: "Bought for space saving. Nice amount of branches and lights. Puffed out really well."
Minor Critiques
Some shoppers noted setup challenges. One wrote: "Love, love, love! Was a little tricky putting together, but I'm sure I'll be fine next Christmas. The tree fit perfectly in the corner. The lights have only one mode I believe (static) which are a warm glow. I'm very happy with my purchase." Another added: "Fiddly to assemble but looks and feels fabulous. Very good value indeed."
