Apple AirTag drops to £7.62 in double discount deal at Argos

A double discount deal lets shoppers pick up an Apple AirTag (2nd Generation) for less than £8. Argos is offering 20 per cent off the tracker, normally priced at £29, bringing it down to £23.20 with the code RED20 at checkout.

Shoppers can save even more through TopCashback, which is offering new members £15 cashback when they spend £15 or more at selected retailers. For new TopCashback members and new Argos customers, the AirTag 1 Pack costs £7.62 once cashback is applied. Existing Argos shoppers can get it for £8.10. Both prices include free click and collect from local Argos stores if in stock, while standard delivery starts from £4.95.

How the deal compares

The double discount beats offers on Amazon and Very, where the pack is currently reduced to £25. Apple sells the AirTags directly for £29. The trackers have been described as the 'most findable AirTag yet', with a louder speaker and an expanded 'precision finding range'. Users can connect to an iPhone and Apple Watch for step-by-step directions to locate lost items.

The battery lasts more than a year on a standard battery that can be easily replaced when the iPhone alerts the user. The AirTags are compatible with iOS 26.2.1 or later, and iPad models with iPadOS 26.1 or later.

Customer reviews and alternatives

The Apple AirTag (2nd Generation) 1 Pack has a 4.8-star rating on Argos. One customer, Steph, said: "Bought it for the cat and it's as good as expected." Another user praised the setup: "Setup is ridiculously easy, tracking is impressively accurate, and the battery lasts ages." A third customer wrote: "Have used the AirTag for several years. Always reliable and easy to use. Would highly recommend."

However, Steve reported: "Within two days the unit stopped working after struggling to get the battery cover off, tested the battery, and it was flat." Stu added: "Having tried generic compatible tags, I was disappointed with battery life and functionality. The extra cost of the Apple tag is worth the superior battery life and operation."
