Shoppers looking for an easier way to dry laundry at home are praising a spacious clothes airer that folds away when it's not being used. The Gullwing Clothes Airer, Extendable Laundry Drying Rack is available at £45.04, down from £52.99, in a limited-time Amazon deal.
22 metres of drying space
The extendable airer offers up to 22 metres of drying space across 24 hanging rods, with customers describing it as 'robust' and 'well designed'. With a 20kg maximum capacity and adjustable design, it can accommodate everything from everyday clothing and socks to larger towels and bedding.
The airer expands from a compact 97cm to 160cm when fully opened, with two folding wings and four drying areas providing plenty of room for different types of laundry. Despite its generous capacity, the rack folds flat to around 98cm by 55cm for easier storage in smaller spaces when laundry day is over.

Another added: “Had a series of the more flimsy winged airers and all have let us down. This one is robust, well designed and on initial use looks like it will last. Quite expensive, but I predict it will prove to be worth it.”
A third commented: “Great for multiple wash loads because of its large build. Compacts well and can be stored in a tight space and can be carried with ease. Sturdy metal design and comes with a pouch and pegs inside. Definitely a good purchase for the cheap price.”
