Alison Hammond's £36 cleanser in Tropic advent calendar

Tropic Skincare has launched its 24 Days Of Pure Imagination advent calendar, featuring 27 products valued at £668. Priced at £299, shoppers save £369 on the contents, which include skincare, body care, makeup, fragrance and wellbeing treats.

The calendar includes a 30ml miniature of the Radiance Cleanser Pore-Refining Cleansing Oil, a product praised by This Morning presenter Alison Hammond. Normally £36 for 95ml, the miniature works out to about £11 as part of the calendar.

Alison Hammond's endorsement

In an Instagram video, Hammond showcased the cleanser, saying: "We're going to start with a radiance cleanser. Look how good this is; it literally melts off my makeup. I've got really dry skin, so I absolutely love this."

She added: "No pain whatsoever. Literally coming off in one cleanse. I'm using Tropic which is a beautiful brand." Hammond became a brand ambassador after a beautician at her hair salon introduced her to the brand.

Product details and customer reviews

Formulated with vitamin C, the cleanser aims to deliver a clearer, softer and more radiant complexion. Azelaic acid helps reduce inflammation, refine pores, and even out skin tone.

One satisfied shopper remarked: "Absolutely amazing cleanser! It leaves my skin feeling so clean, fresh, and soft without making it feel dry or tight. I've also noticed that it's helping to minimise the appearance of my pores, and my skin looks smoother and more refined."

Another reviewer added: "Absolutely love using this. It's worked wonders on my face, especially on my problem areas like my forehead and nose. Pores are less visible, and skin feels great. It also smells really nice as well." One customer deducted a star, noting it occasionally 'struggles to remove my mascara first cleanse', though they acknowledged it did 'make my skin feel so smooth and soft'.

Other calendar highlights

Among the full-size offerings are the Glow Berry Brightening Serum, Rainforest Dew Hydration Serum, Sun Day Dewy Facial SPF 50, Eye Lift Exosome Midnight Balm and Youth Potion Enriched Retinal Complex, the last carrying a value of £78 on its own.

The collection also includes the Lamellar Milk Barrier Repair Essence, a brand-new product exclusive to the calendar. Purchasers will get to try it ahead of its official launch, which is not scheduled until 2027.
