Aldi has confirmed the return of its "hugely popular" Bilash range to stores across the UK, a "premium Indian inspired collection of fakeaway favourites" that lets shoppers buy "two must-have mains and two tasty sides" for under £10.
Main courses and new additions
The eight main courses are each priced at £3.49, including two new options: Chicken Jalfrezi and Beef Madras. Other "classics" in the range are Chicken Tikka, Chicken Biryani, Paneer Curry, Chicken Korma, Lamb Rogan Josh, and Hot Butter Chicken. All main dishes come in 400g portions.
Side dishes and pricing
Sides are available at £1.49 each, making the total for two mains and two sides £9.96. This time, Aldi has added a two-pack Peshwari Naan and Bombay Aloo and Saag Paneer (300g) to the selection. Additional sides include Peshwari, Mushroom, or Pilau Rice (300g), Chicken Pakora (100g), Dip Selection Trio (150g), Plain or Garlic & Coriander Naan (2 pack), and Onion Bhajis or Samosas (100g).
An Aldi spokesperson said: "Whether shoppers are planning a cosy night in or the ultimate fakeaway feast, Aldi's Bilash range has everything needed for a luxurious curry night without the luxurious price tag."
New dessert launch
Aldi has also introduced "delicious" cheesecake cookie sandwiches to branches this week. Now available in select stores for £2.99 per two-pack, the desserts come in Belgian White Chocolate & Raspberry and Belgian Milk Chocolate & Caramel varieties.
Aldi said: "From an afternoon pick-me-up to a showstopping post-dinner treat, shoppers will want to grab a slice of the action before the treats fly off the shelves."
