Aldi is launching a new 'decorative' homeware item that closely resembles pricier versions available elsewhere on the high street. The Kirkton House Faux Animal Rug will be available from Thursday (October 1) as part of the supermarket's Special Buy deals, which land in stores every Thursday and Sunday.
The rug costs £19.99 and comes in three designs: leopard, reindeer and bear. It measures 90cm x 115cm and is described by Aldi as "designed to add personality and comfort, this soft and decorative piece makes a delightful addition to children's rooms and family spaces alike. Suitable for indoor areas and use with underfloor heating."

Both pairs of rugs share nearly identical dimensions and target the cosy "Alpine chalet" and "winter cabin" trends, featuring realistic, country-style animal silhouettes.
