Aldi has launched a robot lawn mower for just £199.99, significantly undercutting premium models that can cost up to £1,500. The Yard Force mower, part of Aldi's specialbuys range, is designed for small to medium lawns up to 400 square metres.
The mower features a 16cm cutting width and adjustable cutting height from 20 to 55mm. It can be controlled via a Bluetooth app and runs for one hour on a 20V 2.0Ah lithium-ion battery. Safety sensors include lift, tilt, turnover, obstacle and radar detection, with a maximum slope capability of 30 per cent.
While the same mower costs £349.99 on Yard Force's website, Aldi has slashed the price to under £200. As a specialbuy, it will not be restocked once sold out. The mower comes with a two-year warranty and a docking station.
