Aldi has introduced a three-bottle limit on its Le Grand Poulet Rosé Magnum (1500ml) starting Thursday, August 27. The wine will be reduced from £11.99 to £9.99, with the offer remaining in place until September 2.
Supermarket enforces purchase cap
Describing the wine as "viral", the supermarket announced the three-bottle limit per customer when the reduced price is enforced. Aldi said the bottle can be defined by its "freshness and character" and has now introduced a bigger bottle with the capacity of two standard bottles.
Aldi describes the wine as a light, dry rosé, offering refreshing aromas of citrus fruits and red berries, complemented by a crisp palate. Wine influencer Sam Caporn recently praised the new release on Instagram, calling it a "gorgeous magnum" and saying it was "even more of a winner".
Smaller bottle and grocery giveaway
For those who prefer a smaller bottle, Aldi is also offering the standard 75cl version, Le Petit Poulet Rosé, priced at £6.29.
Meanwhile, the popular budget supermarket is also offering families the chance to win a year of free groceries through its new Superfam Pass initiative. Aldi is searching for a household of dedicated Aldi shoppers to receive the exclusive pass, which includes £800 worth of free shopping each month for 12 months, giving the winner a total prize value of £9,600.
The successful household will be able to spend the allowance on everything from everyday essentials and fresh produce to popular middle aisle bargains. In addition, the winners will receive £400 worth of Specialbuys tailored to their family's needs, including items such as toys, activities, homeware and garden equipment.
Entries close at 11.59pm on September 21, with the winning household due to be notified by October 5, 2026.
