Aldi is launching home delivery for the first time through a new partnership with Deliveroo, allowing shoppers to order groceries and Specialbuys via the Deliveroo app. The trial begins across eight stores from Tuesday, October 6, with a nationwide rollout planned for early 2027.
How the service works
Deliveroo Riders will pick, pack and deliver orders directly from stores, modelled on Aldi’s partnerships with DoorDash, Deliveroo’s parent company, in the United States and Australia. It will be the only rapid delivery service available from a discount supermarket in the UK.
Customers can order around 2,000 Aldi products, including fresh fruit and vegetables, meat, dairy, bread, household essentials and Specialbuys. Shoppers can order on-demand or choose a delivery window that suits them, with orders delivered straight to their door. Aldi products on the Deliveroo app will be priced lower than any other supermarket offering rapid delivery.

Trial locations and how to order
Stores participating in the trial include Victoria Road, Ashford; Cherry Tree Avenue, Dover; William Frost Way, Norwich; Hines Road, Ipswich; Avenue One, Letchworth Garden City; Zion Place, Margate; Friary Place, Strood; and Glascote Road, Tamworth.
