Aldi has announced plans to open 24 new stores across the UK before Christmas 2026. The budget supermarket will also relocate three existing stores before the end of the year.
The announcement follows Aldi's trading update earlier in the week, in which the company outlined plans to invest in its locations, continue cutting prices and reach more long-term agreements with British suppliers. Aldi currently operates 1,092 supermarkets in the UK.

He added: "Cutting prices on everyday essentials, signing long-term supplier agreements to help increase home-grown production, and continuing to bring affordable groceries to even more communities through our store opening programme."
Hurley also stated: "This is why more customers are buying more products at Aldi - our relentless focus on simple, everyday low prices and award-winning quality."
