Aldi is adding new items to its Middle Aisle next week, and the upcoming range is likely to impress pet owners. The supermarket adds new products to its Special Buy line-up every Thursday and Sunday.
From Thursday, September 10, shoppers will be able to browse an array of 'Winter Pet' products. The new collection includes various toys, food, accessories and gadgets for cats and dogs. One particular item may be of interest to anyone who regularly travels with their pet in their car.
Pet Collection Back Seat Car Hammock
Aldi will be bringing out a Pet Collection Back Seat Car Hammock for £16.99. The store says the hammock is "easy to clean" and "easy to fix to your car".
The product description adds: "Keep your car seats clean while travelling with your pets." When folded, the hammock is 46 x 37 x 10cm. When folded out, it is 135 x 148cm. A back-seat car hammock may help keep your car seats clean by creating a hanging barrier that prevents dirt, pet hair, and scratches from getting onto your car's upholstery and floor. It acts as a shield, keeping your vehicle tidy and protected from messes.

Aldi will also be launching a new Dog Rain Coat for £9.99. Aldi says: "A perfect coat for rainy days, keeping your pet dry. Soft inner mesh and corduroy neck lining. Two-way zip for harness or leash. Choose from Green or Beige in sizes S-XL."
Another option that's likely to help keep pets warm as the weather changes is Aldi's £14.99 Pet Sofa. The supermarket says: "Protect your furniture while giving your pet a cosy place to relax. Protects sofas from pet marks and spills. Doubles as a comfortable bed for your pet. Water-resistant liner. Anti-slip base. 100 x 90 x 20cm (approx.) Choose from Cream, Grey or Green."
To keep cats busy, Aldi will also be selling an Automatic Pet Ball for £3.99. The supermarket says: "Keep your furry friend entertained for hours with this automatic pet ball. Chargeable with USB Type-C. Choose from Blue or Beige."
The Dog Snuffle Plush Toy is another toy going on sale for £3.99. Aldi says: "Treat your fur baby to a new toy and watch those tail wags begin. Includes treat pockets and a squeaker. Choose from Mushroom, Croissant or Rope."
Shoppers can browse the whole range online and buy in stores from September 10. As Aldi says, however, once stock is gone, it is gone.
