Priced at an average of £35, these sandals were praised as a wallet-friendly summer staple that remains lightweight and comfortable for long distances.
Customers gave the sandals an average rating of 85%. One walker commented: "I can walk for hours without feeling any pressure." Another reviewer noted: "They do what I need them to do," highlighting their straightforward utility.
Performance and Drawbacks
Though Cotton Traders is not a premium brand, the sandals punched above their weight, earning four out of five stars for overall fit, sole grip, and underfoot cushioning, according to Which?. However, the sandals missed out on becoming an official Which? Recommended Brand because they lack an official brand warranty.

The highest-scoring walking sandals on the Which? list were from the brand Keen, with an average price of £75 and an average customer score of 88%. Despite the higher price, customers praised the Cotton Traders pair for being lightweight and comfortable for long distances.
Which? also rated a pair of Columbia Sportswear walking sandals as 'Best value-for-money'. Described as breathable and lightweight, they are practical and comfortable enough for serious walking. They achieved a customer score of 86% with an average price of £65.
Scoring the same on both fronts was the brand Teva, described as a "top, durable brand for walking sandals." The Which? review stated that Teva sandals are "tough enough for any summer trails, while providing the fit and support your feet need."
