Donald Trump will press ahead with a new 10% import tariff on UK goods after time-limited levies introduced by the president in response to a Supreme Court defeat expire on Friday, a US trade representative said.
Trump and new Prime Minister Andy Burnham spoke on the phone for the first time this week.
