Morrisons Recalls Football Crisps Over Undeclared Milk

Morrisons has recalled a batch of its football-themed Maple & Bacon Back of the Net crisps after discovering that some packs may contain undeclared milk, posing a risk to customers with milk allergies or intolerances. The Food Standards Agency (FSA) issued an allergy alert, urging affected consumers not to eat the product.

Undeclared Ingredient and Mislabeling

The recall applies to specific packs dated 22/08/26. According to Morrisons, some packs may have been filled with the wrong product that contains milk, which is not mentioned on the label. The FSA described this as a 'possible health risk' for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.

Customer Advice and Refund

The FSA advises customers to return the product to the store where they purchased it for a full refund, without needing a receipt. Morrisons stated, 'Please do not eat this product and return it to your nearest store for a full refund. We don't need a receipt, and no other products are affected by this issue.'
