The recall affects specific batches with codes L126Z39 and L127Z39, and best-before dates of May 6, 2027 and May 7, 2027. The products were sold exclusively at Lidl in the United Kingdom.

International Recall

Ferrero has also recalled the same product in Belgium, Germany, Italy, Spain, Hungary, and Romania for the same reason. The recall also includes Ferrero's Frozen Nutella Muffins in some markets.

According to a statement from Ferrero, "Ferrero announces the recall of specific batches of its frozen bakery products Nutella Croissant and Nutella Muffin in Europe due to the risk that some products may contain metal fragments."
