Asda is rolling out a new 5p per litre fuel coupon offer across 321 participating UK stores from July 13, 2026, as part of its Asda Rewards programme. Customers who spend £40 or more in a single in-store transaction will automatically receive the coupon via the Asda Rewards app, redeemable at Asda-branded filling stations and Asda Express sites until August 7, 2026.
How the Grocery and Fuel Bonus Works
The offer applies to in-store purchases made between July 13 and July 31, 2026. Once the £40 threshold is met, the coupon is added to the customer's Asda Rewards app under the Grocery & Fuel Mission. To redeem, shoppers scan their Asda Rewards barcode followed by the coupon at the pump or kiosk. According to Asda, filling a 60-litre family car could save up to £3 on a single fill.
Expansion Plans and Existing Rewards
Asda confirmed plans to expand the fuel rewards to more stores and extend the offer beyond August to additional locations. The new bonus complements existing 'Missions' in the app, which allow shoppers to earn cashback and other discounts. Rachel Eyre, Chief Customer Officer at Asda, said: "We’re making Asda Rewards even more rewarding! Asda is more than just a supermarket and we're always looking for new ways to help families save on top of our low prices."
App Features and Cashpot Details
The Asda Rewards app is free to download. Users scan a digital barcode at checkout or log in online to complete missions that add cash to a digital cashpot. Cashpot funds expire six months after earning, and generated vouchers are valid for 90 days. Eyre added: "Through our new Grocery and Fuel Bonus, customers can now unlock savings on fuel alongside their weekly shop, another step in our plans to keep growing Asda Rewards and give our customers even more value every time they shop with us."
