Aldi's Brooklea Greek Style Yogurt, priced at just 95p per 500g, has been crowned the best Greek yogurt in the UK by a Which? blind tasting panel. The supermarket's own-brand product scored 77%, tying with Lidl's Milbona Greek Style Yoghurt, and outperformed pricier rivals including Yeo Valley Organic Greek Style Natural Yogurt, which costs £2.25 per 450g and scored 76%.
Blind Tasting Results
The Which? Taste test evaluated 12 Greek-style yogurts on thickness, creaminess, flavour, and appearance. Aldi's Brooklea and Lidl's Milbona both achieved the highest score of 77%. Aldi also received the "Best Buy" and "Great Value" endorsements. Lidl's yogurt, at £1.49 per 1kg, offers better value per kilogram, but Aldi's product won the top accolade.
