Sandro Tonali's former £4 million Newcastle mansion is being rented out for £13,000 a month after it failed to sell. The Tottenham midfielder's six-bedroom property was put on the market in July, a fortnight after his move from Newcastle United to the north London club.
The detached Edwardian-style residence is located in the upmarket Jesmond area of Newcastle upon Tyne. The impressive home boasts an indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna, along with a gym, a games room with a table football table and pool table, and a cocktail bar. It also features eight bathrooms, an open plan kitchen with an island, and manicured gardens.
Property removed from market
But it failed to sell after the Italian star moved out, so has now been removed from the market. Instead, it is being rented for £13,000 a month.
Tonali was often seen in and around the Jesmond area and remained a popular figure with Toon fans right up until his departure. He was also a firm favourite with former Toon boss Eddie Howe.
Move to Spurs and tough start
Tonali joined Newcastle from AC Milan in 2023. But he moved last summer shortly before manager Howe left the club. He rented the property, which has also previously been home to other Newcastle stars.
Tonali - reportedly on £275,000-a-week - has had a tough start at Spurs despite having the summer off after Italy failed to qualify for the World Cup. He hasn't scored or assisted in their opening five Premier League games, including against his former club. Winless Tottenham are bottom of the league with two draws and three defeats.
