Sunseeker Holiday Homes, a UK holiday home manufacturer, has ceased trading and entered administration, resulting in the loss of around 80 jobs. The company, based in Hull, was appointed an administrator on September 7, according to The Gazette.
Financial difficulties and debts
The latest accounts filed with Companies House show that Sunseeker Holiday Homes owed £1.97 million to creditors due within a year as of August 31, 2025, while it held £360,541 in cash.
Insider Media said: "Sunseeker Holiday Homes experienced cash flow difficulties due to rising costs, payment terms, funding of stock and payment terms required, and wages/salaries."
It was also impacted by larger, more established manufacturers with sufficient reserves selling the stock they are holding at a marginal loss.
Administration process and job losses
Frazer Ulrick of Westgates Restructuring Limited is dealing with the administration process. The closure has reportedly led to around 80 employees losing their jobs.
Sunseeker Holiday Homes, founded in March 2019, manufactured holiday homes and lodges for parks across the UK. The company's website claimed to be "at the heart of the holiday home and lodge market."
The Sunseeker website reads: "Sunseeker Holiday Homes are at the heart of the holiday home and lodge market." The Express has contacted the administrator for comment.
