Music mogul Simon Cowell has a new neighbour with a very familiar face. His former girlfriend from the 1970s, ex-Page Three model Jackie St Clair, has reportedly purchased a home directly next door to his £8million Cotswolds farmhouse.
A Blast from the Past on His Doorstep
According to reports, 66-year-old Cowell, who dated Jackie more than four decades ago, can now see her property from his kitchen window. The two homes are said to back onto each other in the exclusive west Oxfordshire enclave, with just yards separating them.
A local source claimed Jackie "snapped up a place that backs onto Simon's", creating a direct line of sight between the two residences. The insider added a note of playful competition, suggesting, "She's married well, and her house is larger than his, so there's definitely some one-upmanship going on."
Despite their romantic split decades ago, the pair have maintained a strong friendship over the years, even holidaying together. Jackie's recent property purchase, however, follows a period of reported tension with another of Cowell's famous exes, singer Sinitta.
Existing Feuds and Future Plans
In 2023, Sinitta allegedly ruffled feathers at Jackie's 64th birthday party by arriving with her toy Poodle, Scarlett O'Hara, who was not welcome. Security reportedly turned her away, risking the reignition of a feud that first erupted between the two women back in 2010.
Meanwhile, Cowell has been focusing on expanding his own country estate. Earlier this year, he submitted plans to build a substantial new 'party barn' for entertaining at his eight-acre hilltop property. The proposed 793sq ft extension, described as "minor in scale" by his agents, would provide a dedicated socialising and games space for his family, including fiancée Lauren Silverman and their sons Eric, 10, and Adam, 18.
The family relocated to the Cotswolds over a year ago following a series of break-ins at their former £45million Holland Park home in London. Their new estate already boasts a wild swimming pond and an indoor pool, and is situated in a village popular with celebrities and royalty, including neighbours Kate Moss and Princess Beatrice.
A Complicated Romantic History
Jackie St Clair is one of several notable figures from Cowell's intricate love life. His relationships have included:
- An on-off 20-year romance with Sinitta, which she suggested was "never really over" until he had his son Eric with Lauren Silverman in 2014.
- A six-year relationship with TV presenter Terri Seymour, with whom he has remained close friends.
- An engagement to make-up artist Mezhgan Hussainy in 2010, which ended two years later.
Cowell is now engaged to Lauren Silverman, to whom he proposed in 2021 after eight years together. The couple began their relationship while Lauren was still married to property developer Andrew Silverman, a story that made global headlines at the time.
