A mother from Anglesey has revealed how she transformed a rundown concrete shed into a chic and modern laundry room for just £50. Amber, who runs a professional home organising and decluttering business, shared the transformation on her TikTok account @theminimalistanglesey.
The DIY enthusiast cleared out her garage to create a calm space for laundry, sourcing materials on Facebook Marketplace. She painted the walls and floor a warm cream colour, built a countertop and shelves from wood she had lying around, and installed a dryer and fridge, doing the plumbing and electrics herself.
Amber bought accessories including washing baskets, a hanging plant, and a black-and-white patterned mat from B&M. She said: 'Smashed it, never tell me I can't because I always will.' The video has drawn praise from viewers, with one commenting: 'This is amazing!'
