A four-bedroom detached property in the Lincolnshire Wolds leads Rightmove's ranking of the most-viewed homes of 2026 so far. Split over three floors, it has a cinema room, two acres of land and offers in excess of £535,000.
Gothic mansion and Victorian villa follow
In second place is a £20m gothic mansion in Newcastle featuring lodges and a former gymnasium. The Grade II listed Jesmond Towers dates from the early 1800s and sits in almost six acres within the Jesmond Dene Conservation Area, with two detached lodges and landscaped gardens.
Third on the list is a seven-bedroom Victorian villa in Manchester, on the market for £1,444,000. It offers nearly 5,000 sq ft of living space, a cinema room, a detached coach house and a rooftop hot tub terrace.
Corfu renovation and Scottish castle
Fourth is a restored property in Corfu that featured on BBC One's Amanda and Alan's Greek Job. It has a guide price of €530,000 and combines traditional stone floors and exposed beams with modern interiors.
Fifth is a 15th-century Scottish castle in Ayrshire linked to Robert the Bruce, king of Scotland from 1306 to 1329. Listed for £900,000, the fortified tower house has original spiral staircases, vaulted rooms and panoramic views across the Firth of Clyde.
Lake Windermere and the most affordable home
A new-build six-bedroom home on the shores of Lake Windermere takes sixth place at £8,500,000, with private lake frontage, two boathouses, a jetty, a cinema room, a games room and entertaining spaces.
The most affordable property on the list is seventh: a circular thatched cottage in Sidmouth designed in the 1960s for novelist R.F. Delderfield. It has cliff-top views over the Jurassic Coast and a guide price of £200,000.
The final three
Eighth is The Orangery for Woodfold Hall in Lancashire, originally constructed in 1820, with glazed walls, two acres of gardens and a guide price of £1,500,000.
Ninth is Blacksmiths Cottage, a three-bedroom detached home in Lincolnshire countryside, described as offering a peaceful rural setting and priced at £340,000.
Tenth is a five-bedroom detached home in Ilford with striking reception rooms and contemporary design touches, guide price £750,000.

"While some of the homes on the list carry multi-million-pound price tags, others are surprisingly affordable, showing that unique architecture, fascinating history, standout interiors or an unusual feature can generate just as much interest as luxury."
