Rightmove has awarded share options to its two most senior executives under the property portal’s employee savings scheme.
Chief executive Johan Svanstrom has received options over 4,449 ordinary shares. Chief financial officer Ruaridh Hook has been granted options over 3,114 shares.
Exercise price and value
Rightmove made both awards on 29 September under its 2017 Sharesave Plan, according to a regulatory filing. The options carry an exercise price of £4.09 per share.
Svanstrom’s award has a total exercise value of £18,196.41, while Hook’s is worth £12,736.26. Together, the awards cover 7,563 shares, with a combined exercise value of £30,932.67.
Option terms and disclosure
The executives can exercise their options from 1 November 2029. They will have six months to purchase the shares at the agreed price.
The awards give the executives the right to acquire shares in the future. They do not represent an immediate share purchase or payment. The transactions took place outside a trading venue. Rightmove disclosed them in accordance with its regulatory reporting obligations.
