Princess Beatrice reportedly visited a £3 million family home in the Cotswolds shortly before announcing her pregnancy. The Queen's granddaughter and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, are expecting their first child in autumn, Buckingham Palace confirmed.
The couple viewed an Oxfordshire property with a 'party barn' and swimming pool earlier this month, according to a source. The source told the Daily Mail: 'The owner was very excited Bea had been round, though she tried to keep it quiet.' The report claimed Beatrice and Edoardo were keen to make an offer on the property.
Beatrice, 32, married property tycoon Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi last July in a secret lockdown wedding attended by the Queen and Prince Philip. The baby will be the Queen's 12th great-grandchild, following the Sussexes' second child due this summer.
Beatrice's sister Princess Eugenie welcomed a son, August, in February. Their cousin Zara Tindall gave birth to a son, Lucas, in March, while Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are expecting a daughter soon. Beatrice is already stepmother to Edoardo's son Wolfie from a previous relationship.
