Parklife 2026 kicks off today as thousands of music fans head to Heaton Park for two days of live performances from top artists. Headliners include Calvin Harris, Skepta, Sammy Virji, and Zara Larsson. The festival, which began in 2007 as the student-run Mad Ferret Festival in Platt Fields, Rusholme, now attracts over 80,000 attendees. It rebranded to Parklife Festival in 2010 and moved to Heaton Park in 2013 due to growing crowds. Past performers include Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, Liam Gallagher, The 1975, and Disclosure.
This year's lineup also features Manchester-based DJ Josh Baker, who returns after his set was cut short last year. Other acts include Chris Stussy, Nia Archives, Kettama, Marlon Hoffstadt, Bou, Rossi, and local talent Morgan Seatree. Armand Van Helden, Shy FX, Clementine Douglas, Ewan McVicar, Prospa, Rudim3ntal, and Chloé Caillet are also performing. Takeovers from XXL, Worried About Henry, Modern Funktion, and Ghosts Of Garage are planned.
A new stage called PANORAMA debuts this year, featuring state-of-the-art production, LED visuals, and on-stage access with dancing platforms. The festival is cashless, so attendees must use phone wallets or cards for purchases.
PayPal+ Discount
PayPal+ customers can enjoy a 20% discount on most drinks and some food at official bars. For example, a 330ml Corona costs £5.04 instead of £6.30, and a 187ml wine is £6.80 instead of £8.50.
