Panda London Bamboo Memory Foam Pillow Review: Cooling Comfort for Neck Pain

The Panda London Bamboo Memory Foam Pillow promises to solve the common problem of overheating with memory foam pillows, using a bamboo cover designed to encourage airflow. Made from sustainable and organically grown bamboo, the cover is naturally breathable, antibacterial, and hypoallergenic, helping to keep sleepers cool and protect against dust mites and skin irritation.

During testing, the pillow initially felt firm and substantial with a 12cm depth, but the memory foam adapted to the sleeper's shape, providing good support for the head and neck. Side and back sleepers will appreciate the medium-firm feel and decent loft, which helped keep the neck aligned and reduced stiffness. However, front sleepers may find it too lofty, and it was a bit too firm for lounging with a book.

The bamboo cover is soft and gets even more sumptuous with washing, though it contains only 40 per cent bamboo. The pillow requires no plumping and retains its shape well. The memory foam is Reach-certified, meaning no harmful chemicals were used in manufacturing. The inner is not washable, but the cover can be removed and cleaned.

Overall, the Panda pillow offers a good balance of support and cooling comfort, particularly for side and back sleepers. It helped reduce neck stiffness and improved sleep quality, making it a worthwhile option for those seeking a memory foam pillow without the heat retention.
