A fed-up resident has shared the sneaky revenge they took on a neighbour who repeatedly blocked their driveway with one of his three cars. The incident, detailed on Reddit, has drawn praise from users who applauded the poster's bold response.
The resident explained that they live in a closed street of small houses, each with a parking spot. A neighbour who owns three cars had asked another neighbour, who doesn't drive, if he could park in front of her house. However, he would park in a way that blocked the poster's driveway, causing frustration.
After the poster bought a car for a new job, they found the neighbour blocking their exit at 6am. Despite asking him to move and warning him not to park there again, he returned the next day. The poster then noticed the car was unlocked, so they released the handbrake and pushed the car into the middle of the street, in front of the neighbour's driveway. They left a note saying 'next time it's a tow truck' and taped over his doorbell before leaving.
Reddit users praised the poster's actions, with one commenting: 'I want to be like you one day, your pettiness is legend!' Another said: 'Considering that you'd already spoken to him about it, you did him a favour by not calling the tow truck. Good on you.'
