Paddy McGuinness has reportedly retained ownership of his £2.5 million Cheshire mansion in divorce proceedings from his estranged wife Christine. The couple separated in 2022 but have continued living together in the property for the sake of their three children, all of whom have been diagnosed with autism and require routine and familiar surroundings.
According to a source, the unusual condition of the settlement is that Christine and the children will remain living in the house. Paddy will have access at any time, and both parties still own the property. Christine has the option to force a sale but has chosen to prioritise her children's needs.
Christine admitted to OK! magazine that she will 'really struggle' when they eventually move to separate homes. She said she is preparing herself and the children for that transition, noting that she takes breaks away to mentally cope with co-parenting.
The former couple have not yet told their children about the split, as they believe the children are too young to understand relationships. Christine explained that the children see them chatting and laughing together, so they do not perceive any change.
