Brobbey made a brief substitute appearance in the Netherlands' opening 2-2 draw with Japan before being handed his first start against Sweden. He wasted no time making an impact, scoring twice within the first 17 minutes to help his side to a 5-1 victory. His first goal came from a Cody Gakpo cross in the fifth minute, and his second from a Denzel Dumfries delivery in the 17th minute.
Interest from Premier League Clubs
Manchester United are among several top clubs monitoring Brobbey, with Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea, and Aston Villa also expressing interest. However, Sunderland are reluctant to sell, having only signed Brobbey from Ajax for £21.6 million last summer.
