Man City player values as guilty verdict could trigger firesale

Manchester City have been found guilty of 114 out of 115 charges of breaching the Premier League's financial rules, and the club could now face a player firesale. Daily Star Sport has examined the value of the squad according to Transfer Markt, in case rival teams raid the Etihad Stadium.

City have denied all wrongdoing and are expected to lodge an appeal, which must be submitted by Friday (October 2). In the meantime, here is a look at how much the club could earn from selling their players.

Top earners in the squad

Erling Haaland is the highest valued player on the books, after recently signing a mega-contract that should keep him at the Etihad Stadium until 2034. The 26-year-old is valued at £187m, though he could be sold for a cut-price with Real Madrid and Barcelona already said to be interested.

Elliot Anderson, 23, is the second highest valued player at £94m, just under what Manchester City paid for him from Nottingham Forest. His contract is set to expire in 2031. Enzo Fernandez, another summer signing, is third at an undisclosed value, with his contract also running until 2031.
