Lisa Armstrong has reduced the asking price of her fire-damaged former marital home in Chiswick, west London, to £3.4 million. The property was initially listed in May 2024 for £4 million and taken off the market in January before being relisted with a £250,000 reduction.
The five-bedroom house was awarded to Armstrong, 48, as part of her £31 million divorce settlement from Ant McPartlin in 2020. The couple originally bought the home for £2.3 million in 2006. A severe fire in September 2023 caused significant damage, and the property was previously valued at between £7 million and £8 million before the blaze.
Rightmove's advertisement describes the home as presenting 'a unique opportunity to restore and enhance a residence to its former glory.' No details of the fire are included in the listing. Images show signs of fire damage, including parts of the ceiling missing in the dining room, but also highlight the property's grand exterior and large rooms with high ceilings.
Friends of Armstrong say she wants to move on from the property, which remains 'the only thing linking her to Ant.' She has reportedly rejected what pals called 'derisory offers' and sees the reduced price as fair. One friend told the Daily Mail: 'Lisa just wants to get shot of it... even though it means she will take a hit in the pocket.'
Armstrong currently lives nearby in another property she purchased. The divorce between the pair was announced in 2018 after 11 years of marriage.
