Katie Price has addressed questions about her finances after fans wondered how she can afford a lavish lifestyle while being declared bankrupt for a second time. The 46-year-old former glamour model pays £5,000 a month in rent for her new Sussex home, despite owing £761,994.05 to HM Revenue & Customs.
In a social media post, Price shared a photo of herself signing 3,000 copies of her upcoming book, 'This Is Me', due for release in July 2024. She wrote: 'People wondering how it is I am able to sustain a certain lifestyle despite having financial ups and downs... Let me tell you it's all comes from hard work, never giving up and fighting through.'
Price was evicted from her 'Mucky Mansion' earlier this year and missed a High Court hearing about her finances because she was in Cyprus. She later said a psychiatrist and doctor had signed her off, deeming her mentally incapable of being cross-examined. She has been receiving outpatient treatment at The Priory.
Recently, Price has been accompanied by a security team after her pink Range Rover was doused with acid. She reported the incident to police and later posted on Instagram about a white transit van with eight people near her property, prompting a police response. She said there is now 24-hour security at the property for protection.
