Influencer Awakes Naked to Intruders in Luxury Apartment Break-In
Influencer awakes naked to intruders in flat break-in

A New Jersey influencer has described the terrifying moment she awoke completely naked to find two strange men standing in her apartment after they allegedly broke through her security bar to gain entry.

The Chilling Wake-Up Call

Jolie Beky, a lifestyle and beauty content creator, shared her harrowing experience in a viral TikTok video that has since amassed over 28 million views. The incident occurred on November 4 at her luxury Royal Bloomfield apartment when she was jolted awake by a soft voice simply stating, "Maintenance."

Alarmed and completely unclothed, Beky stepped out to investigate only to find a group of un-uniformed men standing in her living room. "I was butt a** naked in my own bed, in my own home," Beky wrote in her video caption. "There are only women and a child living in this apartment, and to walk out and see a group of men standing in my living room without any permission is shocking and completely unacceptable."

Confrontation and Property Management Response

In the viral footage, Beky confronts the men who quickly apologise and head towards the door as she demands to know what they're doing. One man, shielding his eyes but occasionally peeking, insists they needed to conduct an inspection and claimed they didn't think anyone was home.

Beky sharply responded, "That's even worse," while reaching for her phone and warning she would call the police. She later asserted that even if they had knocked and she missed it, they should have called or scheduled a proper time, especially given the last inspection occurred earlier this year.

The situation escalated when Beky reached out to the property manager and was met with what she described as "complete silence." When she eventually encountered the manager speaking to another resident, Beky claims the staff member was behaving in a "rude and aggressive" manner and contending that she had lied about the entire incident.

Aftermath and Harassment Allegations

In the days following her viral post, Beky alleges she faced harassment from an unknown social media account that branded her a liar and downplayed the incident. After blocking the initial account, the harasser returned under new profiles, eventually sharing details about the apartment complex that only someone familiar with it would know.

Beky explained that she directly accused the user of being the property manager and threatened to expose them, after which the hate comments stopped. "Somebody in this building is here harassing me," she said. "This is not okay. This is unprofessional. Women deserve to feel safe in their space."

The influencer has since filed a police report and plans to press charges. She told followers she now has an "entry case against the landlord," though cannot reveal much due to the case being new. Many viewers and self-proclaimed property managers have urged her to sue, pointing out the 24-hour notice rule required outside of emergencies.

Beky expressed hope that by speaking out, she could help protect other women, noting that many have reached out with equally harrowing stories about similar experiences in rental properties.
