Jeremy Clarkson is set to sell three cars he drove on The Grand Tour in November, and fans will learn why in a new series of Clarkson's Farm. The presenter has decided to sell three cars he used in challenges for the Amazon Prime car show, including the last car he ever drove on the programme.
It's one of a trio being auctioned off by the former Top Gear presenter for a reason that is 'set to become clear' in the next season of Clarkson's Farm, according to auction house Iconic Auctioneers.
Cars from The Grand Tour
The first car, a 1982 Lancia Montecarlo Spider, was the last car driven by Clarkson on The Grand Tour. With a Lotus Blue exterior, it was used in the 'One for the Road' episode which marked Clarkson's, alongside co-presenters Richard Hammond and James May's, final programme together.
It was specially modified for the show with rear lights from a Ferrari 308 and quad tailpipes, alongside Lancia Delta Integrale wheels and a racing steering wheel. Once filming had finished, Clarkson bought the car and today, it 'starts, runs and drives well', according to Iconic Auctioneers.

Up next is a 1983 Alfa Romeo GTV6 used by Clarkson in the 'Well Aged Scotch' episode, the inaugural Grand Tour show broadcast in 2019. Used by Clarkson to drive around Scotland's North Coast 500, it has covered 28,315 miles in total and is said to have been maintained 'in-house'.
Finally, there's a 1978 Lincoln Continental Mark V from 'Lochdown'. With a huge 6.6-litre engine, the Lincoln was equipped with nitrous injection for the show and still retains this upgrade today, alongside a set of bagpipes in the boot and a Cartier clock.
“I rarely get a chance these days to drive or enjoy these very special and quite famous cars, so it’s probably for the best if they end up with someone who can,” Jeremy Clarkson said in announcing the sales on Friday (September 18).
The three cars will form part of 'The Iconic Sale' which takes place at the NEC Classic Motor Show on November 14.
