Calvin Harris Builds £3.5m Cotswolds Super-Estate with Music Studio
Calvin Harris expands Cotswolds estate with two new properties

Superstar DJ Calvin Harris is embarking on an ambitious project to create his own exclusive luxury estate in the heart of the Cotswolds, new reports reveal. The 41-year-old music producer, alongside his wife, radio presenter Vick Hope, is significantly expanding his property portfolio in the picturesque region.

The Core Mansion and Grand Plans

At the centre of the project is the couple's primary countryside mansion, a property acquired for an estimated £3.5 million. This home is being extensively renovated for Harris, Hope, and their baby son, Micah, who was born on July 20. Recent planning documents have outlined spectacular features for the main residence, including a green play lawn the size of three tennis courts.

The splendid grounds will also host a kitchen garden, a rose arbour, a walled garden, a campfire pit, a 'summer tippee', and a reflection pool. The family will benefit from both indoor and outdoor leisure pools, crafting an idyllic rural retreat.

Expanding the Domain: Two New Properties

Harris's vision extends far beyond the main house. It's now reported that he plans to develop the surrounding area by purchasing two additional properties. A source explained the scale of the work, stating, 'Calvin is building a super-mansion for him and Vick, but he's also doing major work to two other places he's bought.'

One property, situated next door to the main house, is set for a complete renovation by a dedicated team. The second purchased house will be demolished to make way for a brand-new, purpose-built structure. The plans for this new build include a four-bedroom house complete with a dedicated music studio and a granny annex, perfect for family or creative work.

A Connected Estate Inspired by the Beckhams

In a style reminiscent of the Beckhams' famous Cotswolds holding, the source added that Harris's collection of abodes will feature interconnecting barns. This design will allow the family to use the large main house as their base, while Harris can 'decamp to the second house over the road when he's working' in the studio, ensuring a perfect balance of family life and creative seclusion.

The couple, who announced Micah's arrival in a sweet social media post in August, are deeply embedding themselves in countryside life. Vick Hope famously had a home water birth at their property in Ibiza before the family focused on their UK plans.

With planning permissions in motion and a clear vision for a multi-property estate, Calvin Harris and Vick Hope are crafting a lasting legacy in the Gloucestershire countryside, blending luxury family living with professional creative space.
