George Clooney has described changing his twin babies' nappies as a 'horror film', joking that solid food has made the task terrifying. The actor, 56, and his wife Amal welcomed son Alexander and daughter Ella in June.
Speaking to The Mirror, Clooney said: 'I don't know how it goes in as a carrot and it comes out the way it comes out! It was shocking... it was a horror film.' He advised new parents not to give babies solid food 'until they can change their own diaper'.
Clooney also revealed that the twins are now reacting to their parents, especially when he makes 'fart noises' to entertain them. He described parenthood as amazing but admitted he and Amal are 'still getting used' to having 'two little human beings' in their lives.
In an earlier interview with the Daily Mail, Clooney said: 'All of this is icing on the cake. Look, I’m 56 years old and I didn’t think it was going to happen for me.' He joked that he cries more than the babies, adding: 'I cry four times a day right now, because I’m so tired.'
