Celeste Barber and Api Robin's Property Empire to Be Divided After Split
The multi-million pound property portfolio of comedian Celeste Barber and her former husband Api Robin is poised for division following their recent separation. Robin confirmed the breakup earlier this month after updating his Instagram profile description to 'Formerly Hot Husband', signalling the end of their marriage.
Luxury Holdings in Focus
Their impressive real estate assets include a newly completed luxury oceanfront apartment in Coolangatta, which market analysts estimate could fetch up to $6 million in the current property climate. Additionally, the couple owns a penthouse in nearby Tweed Heads, purchased in 2019 for $1.175 million. According to Proptrack data, this stunning three-bedroom residence, boasting panoramic ocean views, is now valued at approximately $2.05 million.
Rockpool Development Investment
Barber, 43, and Robin, 52, reportedly finalised payment for their investment in the Rockpool development in Coolangatta just months before news of their split emerged. This architect-designed 13-storey block, overlooking Rainbow Bay on the Queensland border, is worth an estimated $100 million and features 21 deluxe apartments. The couple bought off the plan for $3.8 million, with local real estate agents now valuing their ocean-facing unit at a staggering $6 million. A recent sale on the same floor fetched $4.65 million, indicating strong market performance.
Real estate sources have confirmed to the Courier Mail that resale values for Rockpool properties have doubled since construction began in 2023. However, it remains unconfirmed whether Barber and Robin intend to sell their apartment. The prestige block offers three, four, and five-bedroom spreads, with each floor housing only two apartments. Highlights include private balconies with built-in BBQs, floor-to-ceiling windows, open-plan living areas, and lavish marble kitchens.
Recent Sales and Family Moves
In April 2025, the comedian and her ex sold their home in Long Jetty on the NSW Central Coast for $1.045 million. Despite nearly doubling their initial investment, the median house price in Long Jetty stands at $1.304 million, according to PropTrack. The couple had moved their family to Tweed Heads in 2019 after purchasing the five-bedroom home for $565,000 in 2014, later renting it out for $650 per week.
Emotional Announcement and Family Dynamics
Robin shared an emotional message about the separation in February, stating, 'The past few months have been incredibly challenging and deeply heartbreaking for us both.' He emphasised that 'there is still love and respect between us' but acknowledged differing future desires. The couple's priority remains their children's wellbeing, including two sons shared together and Robin's two daughters from a previous marriage.
Barber, who gained fame through celebrity parodies and comedy skits, frequently referred to Robin as the 'hot husband' and 'Māori Adonis' in past posts. The pair have resided in their Tweed Heads property on the NSW/Queensland border for the past six years, marking a significant chapter in their shared history now coming to a close.
