A new 45-apartment block with its own community app has opened in Ardwick, on a site vacant since the 2000s.
All-inclusive living with shared amenities
The SONA development sits on the Ardwick Green roundabout, opposite the O2 Apollo music venue. It offers 'all-inclusive and fully connected' living, with a private cinema room, co-working space, private dining rooms, and bookable meeting rooms. The developer bills this as making 'home feel bigger, more flexible and more social'.
Residents pay a single monthly cost covering rent, utilities, and wifi, with the first month free for selected tenancies. A two-bedroom, 500 sq ft property is currently advertised for £1,700 a month on Rightmove and Zoopla.
Community app and CERT Perks
CERT, the developer and property investment firm behind the project, says SONA is 'intentionally simple' with a community app to 'bring people together', as well as logging maintenance requests and managing tenancies.
"SONA gives residents a home that fits around real life," CERT said in a statement. "Whether studying, working shifts, commuting or exploring the city, everything is within easy reach."
Through the app, residents can enjoy CERT Perks, which offers curated suggestions for things to do and places to go nearby, along with exclusive discounts. The app also allows residents to connect with neighbours, chat in community channels, buddy up for local events, or share everyday moments.
