Schofields, the iconic Liverpool soft drink brand famous for its green cream soda, is poised for a return after a local man restored a replica delivery lorry and secured the brand's trademarks. Tony Morrison, 59, from Norris Green, spent years developing new products and hopes to see Schofields drinks back on Merseyside shelves soon.
Restoration of a Replica Lorry Sparks Nostalgia
Five years after restoring a 1970s-style Schofields lorry in memory of his late father Kenny Morrison, who worked at the factory, Tony believes he is one step closer to reviving the brand. The bright orange and blue trucks were once a familiar sight across Liverpool, delivering cream soda and dandelion and burdock to homes and shops.
