The most popular used car in the UK has been identified, and it is not a Ford, MINI, or BMW. According to an analysis of data from Carwow, the Kia Sportage has taken the top spot as the most sought-after used model among British buyers.
Kia Sportage Leads the Pack
The Kia Sportage, which is also competing with the Ford Puma, Nissan Qashqai, and Jaecoo 7 for new car sales, has come first in the used car rankings. Carwow highlighted the Sportage's practical SUV design, premium-feeling cabin, spacious back seats, and a boot capacity of up to 591 litres. However, they noted that it is not the most efficient or exciting car to drive.
Second and Third Place
In second place is the BMW 3 Series, praised as a brilliant all-rounder and one of the best in its class. It was let down by a lack of physical controls for the air conditioning and reduced space in the plug-in hybrid version. Third place went to the Jaecoo 7, sometimes called the 'Temu Range Rover', which offers a well-made interior, head-turning styling, and excellent value for money. Carwow pointed out that it is not very good to drive and less practical than its boxy styling suggests.

It was well sprung, and its width helped give it stability on motorways and B-roads."
