Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt has heaped praise on Taylor Swift, describing her as an 'incredible performer' and 'sweet as she can be'. In an interview with CNBC on Thursday, Hunt expressed his delight at the pop star's relationship with Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
Hunt, who has met Swift at several games this season, also attended two of her Eras Tour shows at Arrowhead Stadium. 'What an incredible performer! I mean, just one of the most amazing artists of our time,' he said.
The Chiefs owner noted that the attention on the team has grown since Swift and Kelce began dating in September, with the franchise's female audience 'growing leaps and bounds'. He dismissed claims that the relationship is a marketing stunt, insisting it is 'very real' and that the team is 'happy for the two of them'.
It remains unclear if Swift will attend Sunday's AFC Divisional round playoff game against the Buffalo Bills. The couple are reportedly 'happy' and 'having a lot of fun' as Swift prepares to resume her Eras Tour in Japan next month.
