Crocs and Umbro Launch Divisive New Football Clogs for World Cup
Crocs and Umbro Launch Divisive Football Clogs

Crocs has once again sparked debate with its latest collaboration, this time teaming up with sportswear brand Umbro to launch a new line of football-inspired clogs just in time for the upcoming World Cup. The collection, which includes two distinct styles, aims to merge the comfort of Crocs with the iconic design elements of Umbro's classic football boots.

The New Collection

The Umbro Crocs Classic Clog, priced at £80, and the Umbro Crocs Crafted Clog, at £85, draw inspiration from Umbro's Drill Top and Speciali football boots. Both styles feature a fold-over tongue, a staple of traditional football boots. The Classic Clog retains the signature pivoting heel strap, adorned with logos from both brands, and includes holes for themed Jibbitz charms. A large double diamond motif appears on the lateral side.

The Crafted Clog, on the other hand, replaces the classic charm-hole design with a unique quilted washed textile upper, incorporating Umbro's Double Diamond motif and a faux tongue. The accompanying Jibbitz charms are football-themed, including a miniature whistle, red and yellow cards, and a football club crest. Customers can also personalise their Jibbitz with names, team names, or lucky numbers.

Availability and Sizing

The Crocs X Umbro clogs are available in women's sizes 4 to 10 and men's sizes 3 to 12. As of now, all sizes remain in stock. While the clogs are unlikely to see action on the pitch, they are designed for post-match relaxation or casual wear while watching World Cup matches.

For those seeking more sporty attire, a wide range of World Cup merchandise, including football shirts, caps, and footballs, is available at Sports Direct. Additionally, Classic Football Shirts offers a variety of home and away kits, including limited edition anniversary collaborations, perfect for showing team spirit both at the pub and on the pitch.
