Set for Life: Two Players Win £10k a Month for 30 Years

Two lottery players have won the life-changing Set for Life jackpot, each receiving £10,000 a month for 30 years. Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at The National Lottery, said, “What an amazing night for Set For Life players – with 2 winners of the top prize in tonight’s draw!”

Tonight's winning numbers were 22, 25, 39, 11, 32 and the Life Ball 03. The odds of winning the top prize are one in 15.3 million, while the odds of winning £10,000 per month for a year are one in 1.7 million.

One of the winners is Vicky Mitchell, 42, from Halifax, West Yorkshire. She and her partner Adam Fry, 38, won £120,000 a year tax-free, equivalent to a £200,000-a-year gross salary. Despite the win, Mitchell plans to keep her family caravan holiday in Skegness next year, saying, “You can’t beat a caravan holiday with the kids. They love it. We’ve already booked for next year.”

Mitchell, a part-time admin assistant, said her household income was under £30,000 a year before the win, which will provide financial security for her two sons. She also mentioned hopes to travel to European cities like Budapest but intends to stick with her existing Skegness plans.
