Santander has announced an exciting opportunity for its customers, who could be in line to pocket a £1,000 windfall. However, the banking giant has warned that time is running out to get involved.
How to Enter the Accelerate Your Savings Free Draw
The offer relates to the bank's 'Accelerate Your Savings Free Draw'. In a post shared across social media, Santander revealed customers could be in with a chance of winning £1,000, though the promotion is exclusively available to Santander UK savings and current account holders.
Those who qualify have only until Sunday, May 24 to enter. Participants must be aged 18 or over and must be UK residents.
"Fancy £1,000 to accelerate your savings?" the Instagram post read. "To be in with a chance of winning, all you need to do is: 1 Like this post, 2 Follow us on Instagram @santanderuk, 3 Comment 'CANADA' below."
The post continues: "Giveaway open to Santander UK savings and current account customers only. Prize draw closes Sunday, May 24, 2026. One entry per customer. Full T&Cs can be found in our bio."
Important Details and Scam Warning
Winners will be contacted through the official @santanderuk Instagram account. Be cautious of any other accounts messaging you claiming to be Santander, it will be a scam.
Santander has confirmed that valid entries will be drawn on the Monday following the race, with the lucky winner(s) being notified via private message on that date. Further terms and conditions are available on the Santander website, which clarifies: "Each race week only one entry per customer, per channel is permitted. If multiple entries are submitted by the same customer on the same channel, only the first entry will be valid."
Customers are allowed to enter on both TikTok and Instagram, qualifying as 2 entries into the draw. This excludes all Santander UK employees and anyone associated with the competition.
There will be a minimum total of £1,000 to win each race week. The winner(s) will have 5 calendar days from receipt of the winning notification to confirm they wish to accept the prize. Failure to respond in time will result in the prize being forfeited and another winner will be selected at random.
The promotion begins at 9am on the Wednesday before each race and entries must be received no later than 11.59pm GMT/BST on the Sunday.
