Premium Bonds October winners: two £1m jackpots revealed

The NS&I Premium Bonds prize winners for October have been announced, including two new lucky millionaires. Savers from East Sussex and Somerset have each won the £1million jackpot.

How Premium Bonds work

Premium Bonds are a savings account offered by National Savings & Investments (NS&I), one of the largest savings institutions in the UK, backed by the Treasury. The accounts don't earn interest traditionally and consistently. Instead, each bond is entered into a monthly, randomly generated prize draw, with NS&I's Electronic Random Number Indicator Equipment (ERNIE) generating the winning numbers.

Between £25 and £50,000 can be saved in the account, and prizes of up to £1million can be won every month.

October's jackpot winners

NS&I has revealed the full list of October's high-value winners. The first winning bond number for the million-pound prize is 331QY484133, awarded to an East Sussex-based bondholder. This winner purchased their winning Bond in May 2018 and holds £50,000 in Premium Bonds.

The second £1million jackpot winner is based in Somerset. Their winning Bond number is 681KK770541, and it was purchased in July 2026. They hold £16,000 in Premium Bonds.
