Lotto Jackpot Soars to £4.7 Million for Tonight's Draw

A life-changing £4.7 million is the jackpot up for grabs in tonight's National Lottery draw. It could mean you are able to quit your job, buy your dream home, and see the world, but you'll have to enter to be in with a chance. Players hoping to win the Lotto jackpot face odds of around 1 in 45,057,474 of matching all six numbers.

Tonight's Lotto Draw Details

Tonight's winning Lotto numbers, along with the Thunderball and bonus ball, will be revealed here as soon as the draw takes place. Nobody won Saturday's Lotto jackpot, making it a rollover for tonight, but three people managed to match five balls plus the bonus, winning themselves £1 million each.

A total of 84 people won £1,000 each by matching five main numbers, while 5,646 matched four numbers to win £50 each. 146,889 people won a tenner each by matching three numbers, and 1,561,982 people won a pound after matching two numbers.

How to Become a Millionaire

You can become a millionaire in tonight's draw either by matching all six main numbers to win a jackpot prize of at least £1 million, or by matching five main numbers plus the bonus ball to secure a fixed £1 million prize. The jackpot will be shared across both rounds, while all other prize tiers will continue to offer fixed cash prizes, paid per round.

New Two-Round Format

Under the new two-round format, players will still win a prize when they match two or more main numbers in a single round. There is also the Lotto HotPicks add-on game priced at £1, and this will also move to the new two-round format. As of June 7, both Lotto draws each week will now be comprised of two separate draws, meaning players will now have a bigger chance of winning.

Players will continue to buy their £2 ticket as normal and will still pick six numbers from 59 balls. However, the game will now follow a two-round format, with two sets of six main numbers and a bonus ball being drawn from two separate machines. This means players can now win in either round one, round two, or both rounds of the game, all from a single line.

This is a breaking news story. Stay tuned for updates.
