EuroMillions Jackpot Rolls Over After No Top Prize Winner

Tonight's EuroMillions draw saw no ticket holder match all five main numbers and both Lucky Stars, meaning the £50 million jackpot will roll over to the next draw. The winning numbers were 2, 3, 8, 28 and 39, with Lucky Stars 2 and 11.

In the accompanying Thunderball draw, the winning numbers were 27, 32, 30, 36 and 19, with the Thunderball 3. No one claimed the top £500,000 prize, but the biggest individual win was £250 for matching four numbers plus the Thunderball. Smaller prizes of £100, £20, £10, £5 and £3 were also awarded, with a total of £439,455 paid out to players.

The odds of winning the EuroMillions jackpot are approximately one in 139,838,160, while the Thunderball jackpot odds stand at one in 8,060,598. Players have a one in 13 chance of winning any prize in each Thunderball draw, according to the National Lottery.

In the previous EuroMillions draw on Friday, the numbers were 12, 21, 23, 34 and 40, with Lucky Stars 9 and 10. No one won the £42 million jackpot, but a UK ticket holder became a millionaire through the UK Millionaire Maker raffle.

A poll conducted among readers found that 76 per cent would not tell the world if they won the jackpot, with only 4 per cent saying they would announce it immediately. Around 20 per cent said they would only inform close friends and family.
