Alisson Open to Juventus Move as Swap Deal Proposed

Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker is reportedly open to a move to Juventus, with the Italian club proposing a swap deal involving their current No.1, Michele Di Gregorio. The 33-year-old Brazilian has emerged as a priority target for Juventus ahead of the summer transfer window, according to reports from Italy.

Juventus are said to be willing to offer Alisson a contract until 2028, with an option for a further 12 months. His current deal at Liverpool expires at the end of next season. Alisson spent two years at Roma before his £67million move to Merseyside in 2018, where he helped Liverpool win the Champions League, two Premier League titles, an FA Cup and a League Cup.

Liverpool manager Arne Slot acknowledged the club's approach to player decisions when asked about Alisson's future. 'I think the club is run in a certain way and we make decisions that the club thinks are in the best interests of the club,' Slot said. 'It (experience) is definitely one argument to keep him but there are other arguments. That is a decision the club has to make if that is needed. In the end, he still has one year.'

Liverpool signed Giorgi Mamardashvili in 2024, with the Georgia international tipped as Alisson's long-term successor. The club are also set to lose experienced players Andy Robertson and Mohamed Salah this summer.
