Rupert Lowe has offered Nigel Farage a deal to unite the "patriotic right" of British politics, saying he is prepared to put their differences aside if Reform UK adopts a series of policies.
The Restore Britain leader wants a ban on the burqa and Halal meat and a referendum on the death penalty. The Great Yarmouth MP, who set up his own party after an acrimonious exit from Reform, also insisted that former Tory ministers must be excluded from a future Cabinet.
Lowe: 'Sufficient common ground'
In a video posted on X, Mr Lowe said: "I truly believe there could be sufficient common ground for our two movements to co-operate collectively (to) destroy the looming left-wing alliance that will finish off what hope remains for this country."
"We have recently shown how effectively co-operation can work locally on the Norfolk County Council, so why not at national level?"
Farage: 'Broad coalition'
Mr Farage insisted he is building a "broad coalition" and that there will "always be a home in Reform UK" for those who reject the two main parties. He said the next General Election will be an "existential fight to save the country we love" and a "binary choice" between Reform and Labour.
In a statement, the Reform leader said: "Patriotic voters believe in many of the same things, but only one party truly has the possibility of delivering change.
"To deliver that change, I understand Reform UK will need the support of people from other parties, as well as millions who have never voted before. That is the broad coalition I am building.
"Over the last 18 months, I have demonstrated that our movement will always be open to anyone who shares our commitment to restoring Britain's borders, rebuilding our economy, renewing our democracy and putting the British people first.
"My previous history in politics has also shown that I am always prepared to put country before party, as I did in 2019. But I will never turn my back on my team.
"There will always be a home in Reform UK for those who believe that 14 years of Conservative government, followed by the last 2 years of Labour, have failed the British people... and that our country now needs a fundamentally different direction.
"I will continue to do whatever is necessary to defeat the left and provide Britain with the strong, serious leadership it deserves. This is the last chance for our country, and we cannot afford to waste it."

The offer comes as Restore has been eating into Reform's vote share in local elections and recent by-elections, taking 9% in last week's Greater Manchester mayor contest.
